Plumbing Fixture Installation and Replacement

A plumbing fixture is any device that connects to your home’s water supply or drain system: faucets, toilets, sinks, showerheads, and tub and shower valves. Each one relies on internal parts such as cartridges, washers, seals, and flappers that wear down with use.

Mineral buildup, corroded connections, and aging seals are the most common causes of fixture failure. A worn part leads to drips, weak flow, constant running, or leaks at the base or behind the wall.

Replacing a washer or tightening a fitting can stop a drip for a while. When the fixture body itself is corroded or the supply connections are failing, the problem comes back. Full replacement fixes the source.

We remove the old fixture, inspect the supply lines and shutoff valves, and install the new fixture with properly sealed connections. Every install is tested for leaks and correct flow before we leave.

Why Fixture Problems Shouldn’t Wait

A dripping faucet or running toilet wastes water every hour it goes unrepaired, and that shows up on your water bill. Leaks at a toilet base or under a sink are worse. Water reaches the subfloor or cabinet base, where it causes rot and mold before it’s visible.

Replacing a fixture at the first sign of failure is a small job. Repairing water-damaged flooring, cabinets, or drywall is not.

Plumbing Fixture FAQs

Should I repair or replace my fixture?

If the issue is a single worn part and the fixture body is in good shape, a repair can work. Corrosion, cracks, repeat leaks, or an outdated fixture are signs that replacement is the better long-term fix.

We inspect both during every fixture replacement. If they’re corroded or failing, we’ll recommend replacing them at the same time so the new fixture has reliable connections.

Photos and video show us the fixture type, the connections, and the space we’re working in. That lets us give you an accurate quote faster, often without a site visit.

Most single-fixture replacements are completed in one visit. Jobs involving in-wall shower valves or damaged supply lines can take longer, and we’ll tell you that up front in your quote.

We install and replace faucets, toilets, sinks, showerheads, and tub and shower valves in residential homes.
